Detroit Techno Records was co-founded in 2009 by DJ Spade and Mollison Folson as a progressive digital and vinyl imprint designed to give raw Motor City talent a worldwide platform.
The mission
DTR respects the foundations of Detroit sound without turning them into a museum piece. The label’s identity is direct, independent, and deliberately unpolished—a street edge that leaves the character of the artist intact.
